AKG earbud control

Web Bluetooth over the BLE control service. Chromium desktop only. Supports the AKG N400NC, N200NC, N700NCM2 and Y600 — the model is detected automatically.

Connection

Disconnected

BLE is the transport for every supported model — the control channel is the GATT service 65786365-…-2e636f6d0000. If the buds aren't listed, tick the box above; they may not advertise the service UUID. SPP exists only for the AKG N700NC (no M2), the one model on Bluetooth Classic serial — and it needs a different command layer, so it will connect but probably not respond.

Listening mode

ANC and ambient are separate opcodes (0x31, 0x32), so each button sends both to make the modes mutually exclusive.

Equaliser

Preset index only. Custom 10-band EQ (0x41) is not implemented.

On the N400NC the charge level lives inside DEV_INFO (0x11) — the app's own getBatteryInfo() calls device-info for this model, so 0x25 is probably unsupported here. It's kept as a probe for other models.

Raw frame

Hex bytes, whitespace optional. Sent verbatim — no framing added, nothing validated. Useful for probing opcodes the UI doesn't cover, or a handshake (aa 01 00).
